As part of its effort to reach the world's least evangelized regions with the gospel, Every Home for Christ (EHC) is unveiling its Watchman Training Center, an 8,000-square-foot facility housed at the ministry's headquarters in Colorado Springs.
International House of Prayer (IHOP) founder Mike Bickle is keynote speaker at the dedication service Saturday. An event marking the international Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem will be held at the facility Sunday.
EHC President Dick Eastman said the center was inspired by Isaiah 62, in which the prophet describes "watchmen" who continually stand guard and pray over Jerusalem.
"Our goal is to help encourage and mobilize believers around the world—in every time zone, nation and even provinces within nations—to sustain continuous prayer in their areas," said Eastman, who has written several books on intercession, worship and missions.

 The contemporary Christian group The Katinas is organizing a benefit concert to assist residents of the islands of Samoa and their native American Samoa, which were rocked by a massive 8.2 magnitude earthquake Tuesday that spawned a devastating tsunami.
At least 169 were dead Thursday, and hundreds more were missing, the Associated Press reported.

 Millions of Christians worldwide will unite in prayer Sunday during the sixth annual Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem (DPPJ).
Churches in 175 nations are expected to participate in the event, which has been endorsed by more than 1,000 Christian leaders including Bible teacher Joyce Meyer, Texas pastor John Hagee and prayer leader Lou Engle. A prayer service being held at the International Convention Centre in Jerusalem will be broadcast live on GOD TV.

 Do you know what it is like to have somebody physically attack you? The trauma is one that, humanly speaking, you don't overcome easily. Or perhaps you have been verbally attacked. You know the awful feeling when somebody points a finger of blame at you.
The Lord's people in this psalm were the objects of anger. It is very frightening to be near someone who is angry. Perhaps you live in constant fear of a co-worker's temper or the angry outbursts of a loved one. You know how it feels to live in a situation from which you wish you could be delivered.
